Seven weeks following a total hip replacement, I was struck with
severe sciatica (the price of being 70+)
The knotted muscles and pain prevented me from standing straight
or walking without a cane. After two therapy session I was upright
again. It took a few more sessions over four weeks to resume normal
activity.
In the three years since then, I have managed over 80 days on
the ski slopes and around 250 rounds of golf.
Cornerstone taught me a series of stretching exercises, which
I do every morning in addition to walking and weight lifting in
a gym. I know I will always have some back pain, but the therapy
and exercise regimen have kept me very active these last three years.
