If an internal pelvic floor muscle assessment is indicated, it will be performed with prior verbal and written consent by the patient. If the patient isn't able to tolerate a full or partial internal assessment the patient will be met where they are, and it will only be performed/completed as they are comfortable. Our therapists will be happy to answer any questions you may have prior to your evaluation.
